While most Of New York flees the city come the weekend, I took the opportunity to hangout at some of my favorite local spots around my neighborhood, Williamsburg. So here is a list of places worth the trip off the L, what to order, and why they are a must.
Kinfolk studio may be on the top of my list. It pretty much has whatever your in the mood for. During the day on the corner is a cafe/coffee shop which transitions into the night with their mix of cocktails and indie electro pop. Next to the cafe is the shop with primarily mens clothing :( but cute home goods, books, etc. And at the end, though not publicized, a bar with a projection screen to watch whatever games on that day in the corner, and seating to do work across from it. Its my dream to create a space that functions with the rules of 3 as Kinfolk has so greatly accomplished.
